Today was an exciting day at school! We had our first English class of the week, and it felt so good to practice speaking English with my classmates. Our teacher, Miss Linda, asked us to introduce ourselves in English. I was a little nervous at first, but when it was my turn, I said, "My name is Sarah. I am twelve years old. I love reading books and playing basketball." To my surprise, everyone clapped for me!
After class, I went to the library to find a book about animals. I want to learn more about tigers because they are my favorite animals. The librarian helped me find a great book called Tigers: The Majestic Creatures. It has beautiful pictures and interesting facts. Did you know that no two tigers have the same stripes? Just like human fingerprints, each tiger's pattern is unique!
In the afternoon, we played a fun game in PE class. We divided into teams and had to answer questions about English grammar. My team won! Everyone cheered, and I felt proud of myself.
I hope tomorrow will be just as fun. Maybe I can share what I learned about tigers with my friends.
Goodnight!
